Updates for Netflix's upcoming series, "Gilmore Girls," just keep coming and more original cast members have been confirmed to join the revival project.

The latest addition to the series is Danny Strong, who will be reprising his role as Doyle, sources told TV Line. In the original series, Doyle was Paris' (Liza Weil) true love, and with his return, it's likely that the revival series will feature the couple still together after 10 years.

Strong joins Jared Padalecki, who returns to the series to reprise his role as Dean Forester, Rory's (Alexis Bledel) ex, TV Line reports. Padalecki was a cast member in the original series' pilot episode until season 5. His character Dean was Rory's first ever serious boyfriend, who was, at that time, married to another.

Padalecki is the last of the exes confirmed to return to Stars Hollow. He joins Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jess, and Matt Czuchry as Logan.

TV Line reported on Feb. 4 that Czuchry has just sealed a deal with Netflix for the project, while Ventimiglia confirmed his return on Tuesday via Twitter when he posted a photo of his script and wrote, "What a great time to get back on set with some friends. #JessIsBack @warnerbrostv @netflix. Apart from all three exes, the show will also be reuniting Rory and her father Chris, to be played by David Sutcliffe.

All these original cast members join the previously announced cast members, which include Weil, Kelly Bishop (Emily, Scott Patterson (Luke), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Keiko Agena (Lane) and Yanic Truesdale (Michel), Lauren Graham (Lorelai) and Bledel.

Meanwhile, a new face will also be joining "Gilmore Girls" revival on Netflix. Entertainment Weekly reported on Wednesday that "Bunheads" star Sutton Foster has been added to the cast of characters and she will be the first who's not part of the original ensemble.

"Gilmore Girls" is written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino. An exact release date for the series has not been announced yet.
