Abby's (Pauley Perrette) composure will be tested when she gets involved in a hostage situation in the upcoming episode of the long running CBS series "NCIS."
In "Lockdown," Catermatt reports that the chief forensic scientist will finally have some airtime of her own. Unfortunately, Abby will find herself in the company of bad men intent on causing unrest. She takes a rare trip outside her sanctum sanctorum to visit a pharmaceutical lab on a murder case. While there, she gets trapped with no communication to the outside world after armed men take over the building and hold everyone hostage.
Meanwhile, Tony Gonzalez of The NFL Today will guest star in the police procedural drama series. Hollywood Hills reports that the former NFL player and studio analyst will play the role of Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Special Agent Tony Francis. Will he be directly involved in the hostage crisis situation?
Last episode, the team was involved in the case of a murdered Navy seaman apprentice. The body of Brian Dokes (Brett DelBuono) was found on the scene of a single-car accident. Upon investigation, it became apparent that he had been involved in a bookmaking ring housed at the back of a lingerie shop.
Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) got involved in the case when Kip Klugman (Eric Matheny), a former NCIS agent he busted for stealing cash and drugs years ago, served him information about the murder. According to the ex-investigator, Dokes was killed by a bookmaker named Beef (Gregory Scott Cummins). While not thoroughly trusting Klugman, Vance and Gibbs (Mark Harmon) decided to pursue the lead.
When they dispatched DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) to the lingerie shop, they were met by Beef's lawyer, who showed them to the back room. The bookmaking equipment and staff were gone, replaced by standard lingerie inventory being organized by a guy named Lump (Edward Fordham Jr.). Soon after, Klugman claimed that Vance beat him up and filed a civil suit against the director.
Using a Bluetooth tracker, Abby traced the moneybag back to the lingerie shop. There they busted Beef after finding pills, cocaine, and LSD. But Beef was not the killer, and the NCIS had to scramble to find the one responsible for killing Dokes. Good thing Gibbs believed in secondary measures, and they busted the real masterminds of the case. Klugman, Lump and Beef's lawyer were all in the scheme together.
