"NBA 2K17" will offiically launch on Sept. 20, as reported by IGN. The standard edition of the game was previously announced to feature Paul George on the cover, but as stated in a report from Sports Rageous, there will be six other stars to be featured. Thus far, only one more NBA star has to be revealed.

""I have been playing NBA 2K as long as I can remember," George stated in the report, "and to be honored as a cover athlete of NBA 2K17 is a blessing and vote of confidence that my hard work on and off the court has paid off."

The other cover stars beside Paul George include Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond. A seventh and final cover star was teased via Twitter but as of the time of writing 2K Games has yet to unveil who it is.

The Legend Edition of the game will feature Kobe Bryant, who recently retired following the final game of the L.A. Lakers during the current 2015-2016 season. Bryant is known for having played every single season of his career for the Lakers, amounting to 20 years with the team.

According to the report, the game will be available for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. The Standard Edition will cost $60 while the Legend Edition with Kobe Bryant and the bonuses, both physical and digital, will cost $80. There will also be a Legend Edition Gold which will cost $100 and this comes with additional bonuses.

2K Games has yet to give a full presentation regarding the gameplay changes and what new modes were introduced. However, a report from Sports Rageous confirms that "NBA 2K17" will come with an Olympics mode, allowing several NBA players to partake in the world Olympic games.

IGN also reports that consumers who pre-order the game will be getting it four days ahead in commemoration of the official NBA 2K Early Tip-Off Weekend.
