Motorola seems to be working extra hard before 2015 ends as a leaked image of a new smartphone has emerged, indicating that the smartphone manufacturer is working on other products aside from the recently revealed Moto X Style and 2nd-gen Moto 360 smartwatch.

A photo posted on Twiiter by @upleaks  shows a device that is apparently called the Motorola Bounce. By the looks of it, it may come as an upgraded version of the latest generation of the Moto X, which was officially launched in July.

The leaked image shows the rear side that is decked with a trademark silver strip where the camera with LED flash can be seen. The back panel also shows diamond-shaped etchings. The front design of the device, meanwhile, shows the selfie camera at the right corner.

The leak source mentioned that the new Motorola Bounce will come with a 5.43-inch QHD "Shatterproof" display, a Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 processor, a choice between a 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage options with 3 GB of RAM, as well as an impressive 21-megapixel primary rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter. The new smartphone is also reported to come out in December this year.

According to GSMArena, the upcoming device's "Shatterproof" display means that it has a MIL-STD rating.

Several reports claim that the soon-to-be released Motorola Bounce smartphone will later on be referred to as the Moto Droid Turbo 2, the successor to the Verizon-exclusive Moto Droid Turbo device that came out in October 2014 – Motorola Bounce will be the international name.

Aside from the leaked specs, the upcoming Motorola flagship is also said to come with a massive 3760 mAh battery for long-lasting performance.

Motorola has yet to confirm if the leaked image and specs information are valid.
