Motorola had launched the Moto E and Moto E 4G back in February, new devices with marked improvements that should certainly appease smartphone buyers on the prowl for alternative and cheaper phones to get their hands on.

The Moto E 4G stands to be a wise investment, something that costs roughly just $143. So what do you get for that price?

Cheap as the price may seem, it does bring in tow impressive features which include of course 4G LTE connectivity. How about the specs?

The Moto E 4G boasts of a 4.5-inch display and draws its power from a Snapdragon 410 processor (1.2 Ghz Cortex A-53 and is amply supported by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. It does come with provisions for additional storage by way of the usual microSD card slot.

A 2,390 mAh battery will be tasked to keep the phone up, something which can be reportedly good for at least 3 days of use if LTE is not used frequently.

It also comes with a 5MP camera, not that impressive but you just have to consider that for $143, it would be close to impossible to push your luck to get a good camera on a budget-friendly device.

Still and all, those specs seem sufficient for people who want a phone without all the frills such as HD display and powerful cores.

Simply put, the Moto E 4G is a good investment for folks who simply want a phone with perks coming in second. At $143, it should be a fair deal for the people simply looking for a phone that can do what it was originally designed – calls, messaging and some browsing.

If you want something cheaper than that, there is the Moto E which runs for around $120 but of course, be ready to sacrifice more features at a lower price.
