The latest "Mortal Kombat X" PC mod shows for the first time the unmasked faces of some of the game's characters.

A video was recently uploaded on YouTube by a user named Dynasty, and it demonstrates the features of a mod for the PC edition of "Mortal Kombat X," which can take away the characters' masks to show their real faces.

The characters who are featured in the new PC mod of "Mortal Kombat X" include Jason Voorhees, Erron Black, Ferra Torr, and Revenant Sub-Zero. But players are also treated with the unmasked faces of two extra characters that are not yet included in the game's roster. These characters are Smoke and Rain.

While NetherRealm Studios has yet to announce the inclusion of Smoke and Rain in the latest installment in the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise, there are rumors claiming that these characters will be added in the game through future DLC packs.

There are currently no games that feature the faces of these masked characters. Perhaps, the most strikingly ghastly-looking face among all these characters belongs to Torr, who has more grotesque features compared to Jason Voorhees.

Aside from the unmasked faces, "Mortal Kombat X" comes with a wide range of characters that are playable in the game. It includes Cassie Cage, D'Vorah. Ermac, Goro, Jacqui Briggs, Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Kano, Kotal Kahnm Kung Jin, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Quan Chi, Sonya Blade, Takeda, and Tanya, among others.

"Mortal Kombat X" is the eighth installment in the video game franchise that began in 1992. It was officially announced back in June 2014, but the game was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC back in April.
