'Mistresses' season 3 finale spoilers: Joss tracks down real killer

Joss will be sent on a wild-goose chase to find the killer in the upcoming finale of "Mistresses." Facebook/ABC

Joss (Jes Macallan) will get a new lead regarding the real killer of Luca (Noam Jenkins) in the upcoming episode of ABC's sexy mystery drama "Mistresses."

In "Goodbye Girl," TV Guide reports that the newly freed blonde will be receiving a puzzling gift that points out that the real killer is still on the loose. The present is reportedly from Calista (Jennifer Esposito), but when Joss asks her if she is the sender, the latter denies it. Last episode, Calista took the difficult path and told the police that it was her who killed Luca and Joss had nothing to do with it. She came up with the decision after learning that Joss was planning to accept the plea deal to get out of prison sooner.

As a result, Joss was vindicated. Their friendship appeared to be on the mend, too. But now that another clue on Luca's murder comes to light, what can it mean for the two women? Joss will reportedly use the lead to track down the "real killer." Will she be able to prove that someone else is guilty of the crime? And what will she do about Harry (Brett Tucker) and his new job prospect? Just when they will finally be together, he is presented with an exciting opportunity that involves moving away from her.

Meanwhile, Karen (Yunjin Kim) will find herself confused on the best thing to do for Vivian (Sonja Bennett). After the trip to the doctor last episode, Karen finally knew that Vivian was suffering from a liver disease and that her condition was terminal. Vivian does not want to tell Alec (Ed Quinn) about her plight; but as her ailment worsens, Karen feels that her husband ought to know. How will she approach this hurdle without causing pain to her two lovers?

As for April (Rochelle Aytes), she is now starting to realize what her true feelings are for Marc (Rob Mayes). Cartermatt reports that Marc disappears the moment Scotty's (Julius Fair) mother took him away from his care. April will then find herself missing him and reflecting that perhaps, she feels something more than friendship for the guy. Will she be too late? Will Marc ever return now that his nephew is gone?

"Mistresses" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
