Michael Schumacher health condition latest news: F1 driver will never fully recover from brain injury, wife says

Times are tough for Formula One racing legend Michael Schumacher as his recovery from severe brain injury continues slowly, and his wife even recently admitting that he will never fully regain his health.

According to a report in The Daily Mail, Schumacher's wife, Corinna, already sold the former world racing champ's jet and holiday home worth $38 million.

Schumacher's wife reportedly made this decision because her husband will "never fully recover to enjoy them again."

Schumacher suffered a brain injury after a skiing accident in the French Alps in December 2013. He came out of his coma last June after being unresponsive for months.

The Daily Mail meanwhile reported that Schumacher now "requires care and therapy around the clock." He is also reportedly immobile, unable to speak and is being attened to by a team of carers in a special clinic built in the grounds of his home in Switzerland.

Quoting an insider, a separate report from The Daily Express described Schumacher's recovery as "painfully slow."

The same report said that "there is no miracle on the horizon" for the former racing champion.

However, official details on Schumacher's detailed condition remain sparse, with his family imposing a kind of media blackout; tents have been set up around Schumacher's home so that he will not be photographed on a wheelchair.

Schumacher is one of the most successful and popular drivers in Formula One's history. He still holds the record of winning most world championships.
