'Metal Gear Online' expansion pack: Quiet's unique abilities details revealed

 Konami

With Quiet set to join "Metal Gear Online" as part of the upcoming "Cloaked in Silence" expansion pack, the developers have now provided more details about how she will be like inside the game.

In a post on Konami's website, the developers revealed that Quiet would have near-perfect aim inside the game.

Quiet's pinpoint accuracy applies to both the first and third-person perspectives, giving her the ability to land precise shots with greater ease.

Quiet's almost superhuman-like ability to shoot accurately makes her an even bigger threat when she is armed with her sniper rifle.

The new character being added to "Metal Gear Online" will also possess incredible movement speed inside the game. Thanks to this, players can sprint continuously using Quiet and she even has a special boost that allows her to activate a cloaking ability while she is on the move. The special boost does have a cooldown, however, so players will need to use it sparingly inside the game.

Quiet also possesses the ability to quickly leap to the top of ladders, thus allowing her to move around at even greater speeds.

Unsurprisingly, Quiet will not have any actual dialogue when she is added to "Metal Gear Online," although she will use a variety of humming noises in order to communicate.

The developers have also hinted that there is still more to know about Quiet, but players will have to learn about those later on.

Aside from Quiet, there are also three new maps being added via the "Cloaked in Silence" expansion pack. The three new maps and Quiet herself cannot be purchased separately, according to the game's official website.

The upcoming expansion pack will be on sale for $3.99.

"Cloaked in Silence" will be released for "Metal Gear Online" sometime in March, although an exact release date has yet to be announced.
