At a time when the signs and images representing Jesus Christ are being banned in school plays and public displays, it is very refreshing and inspiring to see that Christian signs are being upheld in a well-known establishment.

When Facebook user Amy Basel drove by her local McDonald's last Dec. 14, she was so inspired by the image she saw on the fast food chain's window that she took a photo of it and uploaded it on her social media page.

"Drove by and did a double-take. Growing up in the mitten, you would NEVER see this. Tennessee McDonald's...you made my day. 'His name is Jesus,'" she says.

Since it was first posted, it has received over 82,000 shares, more than 9,000 comments, and over 134,000 likes. Thousands of people were thrilled that the birth of Jesus Christ is being proudly displayed in the establishment. To show their appreciation, they all committed to patronise that McDonald's branch in Maury County side of Spring Hill at 5431 Main Street as often as they can.

People were touched by the display, which inspired them to "take a stand for Christ."

"Stop letting the newest poll & Obama say that we are not the majority anymore! We need to take a stand & stand strong for what God & His word says is sin & yet all of us Christians just let it slide right on by now & (lose) all our rights as well & having no morals at all. TAKE A STAND PEOPLE! Stand for God before it's all too late!" Teresa Helton comments.

The establishment owners Gina and Tony Wolfe said in a statement to The Tennessean that decorating their window for the Christmas season has become a local tradition.

"As independent business owners, for many years, we have had the windows at our restaurants painted with similar messages. This is a tradition that my father started 40 years ago. We are surprised and happy that our windows have garnered attention across the country and are proud to be a part of this community," the Wolfes said.
