The second season of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will premiere next month and fans cannot wait to know what troubles will befall their favorite heroes. Apparently, a disoriented Lady Sif (to be played by Jamie Alexander) will be seen in the new season. The Asgardian warrior seen in action in the "Thor" films will be back but, to her, the names Thor or S.H.I.E.L.D. would not ring a bell.

"Sif has no idea who Thor is or that she serves a king, and we're going to have fun with that. It'll give us some much-needed humor in a season that's been full of betrayal and death," TV Insider quotes executive producer Jeffrey Bell as saying. "Sif can't even recall who she came here from Asgard to stop, but Agent Coulson [Clark Gregg] and his team will try to help her figure all that out."

Sif will also be faced with another menacing baddie whose powers levels with her own.

Drea de Matteo from "Sons of Anarchy" will also join the ensemble as Karla Faye Gideon, "a gifted woman with a grudge against S.H.I.E.L.D. who joins forces with Skye's father, Cal." She intends to bring more trouble and mess with Agent Coulson in the new season.

"We're thrilled to have Drea join us as yet another great villain to challenge our cast," Executive Producer and Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb told Marvel News. "We relished the opportunity to work with her in such a menacing role."

The first episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2 is titled "Aftershocks" and it will revolve around the new firebrands that will go after Coulson and his team. After the squad destroyed an alien city in Puerto Rico and killed Whitehall in the process, Cal will enter the scene, feeling robbed of his long-planned vengeance against his wife's murderer. So Skye's father will pick on Coulson and his group instead.

In the episode, Skye and Raina's unlikely and rather "disturbing" alliance will form, with the latter vindictive and still thrashing about her inhuman transformation. The former discovers her new abilities to harness newfound powers from the Obelisk but everything goes awry and danger begins to loom over her loved ones.

In the same episode, Bobbi and Mack will be seen carrying out the next phase of a plan that is set to bring more bedlams to Coulson and his team and the worst part is that they do not have the slightest idea about the danger to come. Lastly, Coulson will also have to deal with Hunter and his life-changing decision that will strike an impact on his mission.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2 will premiere on March 3.
