Manny Pacquiao says he's praying for Floyd Mayweather to fear God and 'change his ways'

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather may have never come face to face in the boxing ring but that doesn't mean swipes haven't been taken elsewhere.

While Mayweather continues to goad Pacquiao, Pacquiao doesn't seem to share the bitter feelings of his boxing rival.

Mayweather's latest dig at "Miss Pac Man" was to share some pictures on his Instagram page of the Filipino boxing champion knocked to the floor by his opponents in his previous fights.

He added that "Miss Pac Man is broke for a pay day".

Boxing fans have been desperate to see Pacquiao and American Mayweather fight it out in the ring.  Both men have exceptional fighting records, as Mayweather stands undefeated in 47 fights, while Pacquiao has had an impressive 56 wins.

Pacquiao is deeply religious and can often be seen saying a prayer or looking heavenward at his fights. In an interview with Rick Warren in 2012, the champion boxer revealed Warren's book, The Purpose Driven Life, had been instrumental in his coming to faith, and that he and his team memorise Scripture together.

In responding to Mayweather's latest jibes, Pacquio took his cue from his Christian faith, AFP news agency reports.

"He (Mayweather) should fear God," Pacquiao said, advising him to heed the biblical passage reading "For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?"
