Manchester City completed their fourth signing this offseason and added another homegrown talent acquiring the 18-year-old Patrick Roberts from Fulham, no information was revealed about the deal but The Guardian reported that it was worth £11 million (£6 million in add-ons).

Roberts is the third homegrown player inked by City this offseason following the addition of midfielders Fabian Delph from Aston Villa and the controversial Raheem Sterling from Liverpool.

In total, Manchester City already has four acquisitions this summer in Delph, Roberts, Sterling, and striker Enes Ünal from Bursaspor.

Fulham stated that they had hoped to keep the youngster but he handed a transfer request Saturday.

Roberts' former club posted the announcement on their official website and stated, "Fulham Football Club can confirm that, in the early hours of this morning, an agreement was reached with Manchester City regarding the transfer of Patrick Roberts."

"After making his debut at the Etihad Stadium on March 22nd 2014, the 18-year-old played 22 times for the Whites and joins City for an undisclosed fee. We wish Patrick all the best in the future," the statement also read.

The signing of Roberts was announced by Manchester City through their Twitter account posting a photo but no other information was disclosed, The Guardian reported.

The addition of Sterling, Delph, and Roberts is great for Manchester City as they needed to load on homegrown players after midfielders James Milner, Frank Lampard, and Scott Sinclair with defenders Dedryck Boyata and Micah Richards left the club.

Despite his young age, Roberts has had tons of experience especially in the international scene.

He may have just played 22 games for Fulham but had the chance to play for England's U16, U17, U18, and U19 squads.

Roberts made his debut for Fulham in a 5-0 loss against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in March 2014.
