Logos Begins Road Trip to Promote New Software

Logos Research Inc aka Logos Bible Software, is beginning an American Tour to promote the release of its latest bible software - Logos Bible Software 3.

|PIC1|Voted the 'Best Christian Place to Work' by Christianity Today, the now famous Bible software company is celebrating the release of its new bible software with a 13,000 mile tour in over 60 cities and 31 states in a 37 foot RSV to tell people about it!

According to Logos Bible Software, the new version delivers improved speed, revolutionary tools and exclusive texts, with over 700 Bibles and Bible reference titles.

"We’ve devoted thousands of hours to building new tools, speeding things up, and giving the interface a new look for Logos 3," said Bob Pritchett, Logos President and CEO.

According to Mr Pritchett, the newly reconfigured software would be worth $11,700 if buying all of its title's equivalent print editions from its top-of-the-range - Scholar’s Library: Gold.

Not only exhaustive, the new version 3 also revises the major tools and reports systems to improve usability; for example, a Bible Word Study allows the reader to make more accurate interpretations of each word by listing a definition, a root word, and concordances of that word within the bible.

Other new features include:

|PIC2|- view graphically the relationships between people in the Bible
- mark up text in Bibles and other electronic texts with 82 different highlighter styles and graphical symbols
- insert bookmarks and view browsing history to quickly return to a passage or book
- instantly jump to the next occurrence of a word within a resource

Most of the collections available now also include newly-created reverse interlinear Bibles - Bibles which print with two languages in alternating lines, allowing English-only students of Scripture to study the Bible in its original languages.

Logos Bible Software 3 follows the release of its third generation platform - Librinox - five years ago. The Digital Library System can handle 10,000+ books and is based on research into library sciences and information retreval.
