Texan gay couple Tandra Barnfield and Samantha Muzny snapped a picture of themselves kissing in front of the Duggars' residence on Saturday in protest of the 19 Kids and Counting family's stance on homosexuality.

The lesbian pair, who said they are big fans of the TLC reality show but are displeased with the Duggars' intolerance of gay unions, were visiting relatives in Tontitown, Arkansas on January 10 when they decided to stop by the Duggars' home and take the picture.

"My cousin lives just a few doors down from the Duggars. When we saw the house, it just lit a fire underneath us," Barnfield told Radar. "I said, 'Let's go make out!' My sister took the photo."

A few days later, Barnfield posted the photo on Instagram with the caption "My girlfriend and I stopped in front of the 19 Kids and Counting house and shared a loving kiss. We love the Duggars, God and each other!"

Explaining the reason for her decision to take and post the photo, Barnfield said, "I want to get married to my girlfriend. And the Duggars are fighting my right to do so.

"It upsets me. If you won't let me get married, I'm going to make out with my girlfriend in front of you."

Although the lesbian couple, who have three children, are unhappy with the Duggars' stand on same-sex marriage, they said they still watch the family's show "all the time."

"We love the Duggars," Barnfield said. "I also have morals and love God. They sit there and say they love everybody too, but then they fight against my rights."

The Duggars, who are ultra-conservative Christians, were embroiled in a gay controversy late last year after they deleted pictures of same-sex couples kissing from their official Facebook page.

In protest, many signed an online petition asking TLC to cancel the show. The petition apparently failed to convince the network's executives as 19 Kids and Counting will return on air in February.
