Fans may have been treated to the clearest look yet of LeBron James' upcoming "Nike Lebron 13," according to Sneaker News.

The basketball superstar purportedly debuted the shoes when he attended the Nike Basketball Elite Academy in Santa Monica, California last weekend. KicksOnFire said that it may be just a test pair, but that "the evidence seems to be a bit convincing so far."

New photos online of the model reveal a familiar Cleveland Cavaliers vibe with the rich Team Red upper and hits of crimson on the Flywire, heel, and Swoosh border.

KicksOnFire provided a more detailed description on their website.

"The model seems to be treated in a Cleveland Cavaliers' inspired palette with red utilized for its upper. Bright crimson accents grace the Nike Flywire system, Swoosh, while the heel bears touches of black to further pronounce its makeup. Situated atop is a white midsole unit equipped with Hexagonal Zoom Air cushioning."

Sole Collector earlier released a catalog of the upcoming shoe, including some technical descriptions. "Nike LeBron 13" supposedly includes a Hyperposite body and dynamic stretch fit upper. The model has a new Hex-Max, which will provide a "bigger, more explosive, articulated zoom cushioning."

The upper part of the sneakers has "mapped upper construction," which the website says provides "anatomic, dynamic and precise" design. "Nike LeBron 13" also has a "dynamic stretch fit upper," which is a "one to one fit with integrated, articulated lockdown."

A Zoom leap system, which has been linked to "explosive articulated propulsion," is also expected to be unveiled on the release date of the shoe, according to the website.

The new "Nike LeBron 13" is expected to come out in the fall, just in time for the new NBA 2015-16 season opening, but some sources says it could be earlier. The shoes' price will be $200.
