Kim Kardashian baby news: Reality star expresses gratitude for surrogate

Unlike her sisters Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, who are rumored to be pregnant but have not confirmed or denied the claims, Kim Kardashian is open about her adventures for her third baby, who will be arriving early next year.

The wife of rapper Kanye West was vocal during the latest episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" when it came to expressing her gratitude for the surrogate mother of their third child, saying, "I'm seriously so grateful for her and that someone is just so like selfless and kind to do this."

However, as much as she was a public personality, she revealed that she wanted to keep things in private, with even the surrogate's identity hidden from the public. "Like I don't want them to harass her. Like she doesn't know how to handle stuff like that, this isn't her world," Kim continued.

Aside from this, she also revealed that it was different from the times she was carrying her children, North and Saint West. "It is a weird dynamic. Like I go to all the doctor's appointments and I try to be really present, but when you're not carrying it yourself it is such a fine balance of how much you're going to be in their lives," she shared.

It was frustrating, Kim said, though she elaborated that she wanted to be there with the surrogate mother every step of the journey. Even so, Kim admitted that she trusts the bearer of her child and that she did not want to be controlling.

Kim also revealed that she and West had taken their time to find the perfect surrogate. "Getting a surrogate and finding someone that you really trust really is so much more for difficult of a situation than you could really imagine," the 37-year-old said.

Kim and husband West are expecting a baby girl in late January. According to TMZ, the surrogate was prohibited from vices, including smoking and drinking.
