Joel Osteen assures people: God has already changed the things you're worrying about

Pastor Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church is once again sharing his message of hope and positivity as he recalled the story of Ananias.

In the Bible, God directed Ananias to go and pray for Saul. But Ananias did not want to since he thought Saul was not yet a believer of God. Moreover, Saul was considered as "the greatest enemy of the church" for having arrested and imprisoned many Christians.

"One day, while traveling down the road to Damascus, a bright light shone down and caused him to go blind. Then a voice boomed out and said, 'Saul, why do you persecute Me?' He said, 'Who are you?' The voice said, 'I am Jesus,'" Osteen narrates on his blog.

After God spoke to him, Saul became a believer. He changed his past ways. But Ananias did not know about it yet. Ananias was fearful that Saul would harm him for being a Christian. He thus prayed, "Lord, I've heard many reports about this man and all the harm that he's causing."

He provided plenty of reasons why he should not pray for Saul. Little did Ananias know that God already took care of his problem.

"He didn't realise he was worried about something that God had already taken care of. He didn't know that Saul had already had a change of heart on the road to Damascus. When Ananias finally went to pray for him, he discovered that Saul was an ally instead of an enemy," says Osteen.

Just like Ananias, Osteen says people still needlessly worry about things that God has already taken care of. "God has already changed it," the pastor assures. "He's already spoken to the right people. He's already lined up your healing. He's already arranged that breakthrough. It's just a matter of time before you walk into it."

Osteen says there's no use losing sleep over something that God has already taken care of. He suggests that people stay in peace and "come into what God has already done."
