Jill Duggar Dillard from the new TLC show "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" turned 25 on May 17, an event that gave her husband Derick and family members the opportunity to thank her for everything she has done to their lives.

Derick wrote a heartfelt post on their blog thanking Jill for strengthening his love for Jesus Christ. "My wife, Jill, has exemplified the love of Christ since the moment I laid eyes on her. Jill is definitely a gift from the Lord, who was thinking of me when He made her. She makes me a better person each and every day," he says.

"It's a joy for me to see how Jill honors the Lord in all areas of her life and today I would like to honor her: "To the love of my life: Happy birthday!" Derick writes.

Jill's sister Jessa Seewald also shared her greeting on their family blog. "Happy birthday to my great sister! Ben [Seewald], Spurgeon [Seewald] and I are sending you our love and wishing you great happiness on you birthday today! We miss you!" she writes.

Jill's birthday celebration in Central America was a truly joyous occasion because her parents Jim Bob and Michelle, together with her younger brother James, flew in from Arkansas to help her celebrate the occasion.

On the Duggar family Facebook page, Michelle happily posted a selfie and wrote, "Headed to Central America to see our sweet Jill for her birthday tomorrow. This momma is so excited!"

Meanwhile, it is still uncertain how many more birthdays Jill plans to celebrate in Central America. "They're still in Central America," a source close to the family told PEOPLE. "They're living there for now. Nobody knows for how long."

"The work they're doing is very important to them," the source added.
