'J-Stars Victory VS ' news: Game discount available now

 Official "J-Stars Victory VS" website

Fans of Shonen Jump can rejoice as "J-Stars Victory VS+" is now available at a discounted price.

For those who may not be familiar with "Shonen Jump," it is a popular Japanese magazine that features some of the most famous anime characters. Now, many of those same characters that have made appearances in the publication throughout the years are also in the game itself.

Notable "Shonen Jump" alumni who are featured in "J-Stars Victory VS+" include none other than Son Goku from the massively popular "Dragon Ball" series, Monkey D. Luffy from the long-running "One Piece" franchise, Ichigo from the "Bleach," Kenshin Himura from "Rurouni Kenshin," and Naruto Uzumaki from the "Naruto" series.

As for the discount itself, fans who want to get the game can head on over to Target's website to get a discounted PlayStation 4 (PS4) copy of the game.

On the Target website itself, the price currently being displayed is still $59.99, but once the game is placed into a cart, it is then that fans will able to view the discounted price, according to Geek Snack.

Instead of purchasing the game for $59.99, fans can now get it for 33 percent less at $39.99.

As for whether or not the game itself is worth getting even at a reduced price, PlayStation Lifestyle indicated that it would be up to the player's preferences when it came to picking out games.

According to the website's review of "J-Stars Victory VS+," the game can manage to provide players with a solid single and multiplayer experience upon picking it up, but there are aspects of it that can be considered lacking. The game's graphics for example, are said to be less than ideal, making it a difficult title to constantly enjoy for those who deem that aspect of gaming very important.

Aside from PS4, "J-Stars Victory VS+" is also available on PS3 and the PS Vita.
