India and Pakistan will play in the ICC World Cup 2015 cricket tournament on Sunday in a massive game between the two cricket-fanatical countries. Emotions will be high when the two teams meet at the Adelaide Oval and one thing's for certain; there will be no love lost between these great rivals.

This pool B clash could go a long way to determining the fates of these two teams as they look to qualify from a competitive group. Both nations will be expecting qualification and will believe they can go all the way in the tournament, however, this opening game for both will see tensions immediately raised to the max.
India have already been playing in Australia for a number of months in the lead up to the tournament, however, they have not experienced the success they would have hoped for. They also had a tough time in the Tri-Series, and that does not bode well for their chances in the World Cup this month.
However, India's batting line up is undoubtedly one packed full of attacking talent, and if they can finally click together in this tournament, most analysts can see them going all the way.
India's bowling unit is solid but not one of the best at the tournament. They will have to rise up and put in an above-average performance throughout this World Cup - especially against the other top teams - if they are going to allow the team to get into positions where their batting line up can take advantage. The bowlers cannot consistently leave too much to do on the batting side, and if they can do their fair share then it will help their batsmen to walk out to the wicket with confidence.
Pakistan have a strong line-up - no one would argue with that, however, they have not played ODI cricket in Australia for five years prior to their recent warm up games. That is not exactly the ideal preparation for the team coming into the tournament. In the warm-ups it was clear that many of their batsmen were struggling with the bounce and conditions, and that could end up putting too much pressure on the few batsmen that cope better with the unfamiliar environment.
Optimists in the Pakistan camp will point out that the team demolished England in the warm-ups, and that clearly shows that they will be one of the major forces at this World Cup. However, it probably isn't any secret that just as they could easily destroy any opposition on their day, they also have the potential to put in an absolute shocker of a performance on another day. They will have to be consistent if they are to go all the way.
