The newest Hillsong movie Let Hope Rise will make its nationwide premiere on May 29, 2015 and Relativity Studios will be distributing the film created by Cantinas Entertainment, Grace Hill Media, and MediaWeaver Entertainment.

"We are excited to share Hillsong - Let Hope Rise with moviegoers across the US. Chronicling this Christian band's humble beginnings to their present day worldwide ministry is truly remarkable and worthy of their story being told on the big screen," Matt Alvarez said in a press release. Alvarez is overseeing the film for Relativity Studios.

The film is directed by Michael John Warren, who was responsible for Jay-Z's Fade to Black film. Let Hope Rise follows the inspiring 30-year journey made by Australian-based Christian band Hillsong United to achieve success.

Since they started, they have sold over 16 million albums and their songs have been translated into 60 languages.

The film not only chronicles Hillsong United's past, but will also travel with the band as they work on their new album. It is is produced by Jonathan Bock of Grace Hill Media, Matthew Weaver, and Ben Field.

Bock said that "anyone who regularly attends a church knows Hillsong's music by heart." The band has popularised songs such as "Mighty to Save," "Oceans," "Lead Me to the Cross," "Hosanna," and "From the Inside Out."

"And yet despite the fame and adulation, they're still just an unpretentious worship band trying to do what hundreds of thousands of other worship bands try to do every week - glorify God through their music," added Bock. "How they balance that is a fascinating and surprising story."

The trailer of Let Hope Rise details the band's success and shows moments of worship, friendship, and happiness. "They're changing the world but the world's not changing them," it said in the trailer.

But ultimately, the film is a dedication to God's magnificence. "It's not about them. It's about Him," they said.

Hillsong Church is currently led by Joel Houston, son of founders Brian and Bobbie Houston. They have churches in 14 major cities around the world, and over 100,000 weekly attendees.
