It looks as though Blizzard has added more than just a new character in the latest update they have released for "Heroes of the Storm."

As it turns out, the addition is a new Easter Egg that will likely give a lot of players a welcome dose of nostalgia.

In order to see and try out the new Easter Egg, players can make their way to the "Heroes of the Storm's" main menu. Once there, they will see the new character who has been added to the game in Kharazim. As usual, according to Gamespot, the main menu of "Heroes of the Storm" has been changed to feature the new character, but in this case, there's more to the new layout than meets the eye.

Upon making it to the main menu, players will also see a few trees next to Kharazim. When players click these trees, they will suddenly start to see some ducks flying out of them. At this point, players can start aiming at those ducks and then click away to start shooting them down.

According to iDigital Times, the Easter Egg is a tribute to the old NES title known as "Duck Hunt."

In the old game, once players managed to bring down a few ducks, they would see a dog holding up their fallen prey. This time around, a treasure goblin will be taking the place of the iconic "Duck Hunt" dog. Unfortunately for players, they won't be able to shoot at the ducks very quickly, so they will really need to be precise with their aim or risk ending up at the receiving end of a hearty chuckle from the treasure goblin just like the old "Duck Hunt" dog used to do.

It's unclear if the "Duck Hunt" Easter Egg will remain in place even after Kharazim has been displaced as the game's featured character.
