Those who would like to buy an Xbox One might want to wait for the "Halo 5" edition to be released. Hinted at by one of the chiefs at developer 343 Industries, the console is expected to be launched to commemorate the release of the upcoming "Halo 5: Guardians" title.

Through Twitter, 343 Industries' head of development Josh Holmes was asked by a fan about any upcoming Master Chief Xbox One consoles that would be released alongside one of the most-anticipated games of this year.

Holmes answered, "There is a limited edition console coming, yes. It hasn't been revealed yet, but it's pretty sweet."

The latest title, "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," is a bundle of joy for franchise fans. However, it did not get a custom console to go with the package.

Xbox One maker Microsoft has yet to announce officially if a game-themed console is one of their strategies to promote the upcoming game. However, most observers say that since the game franchise is one of the biggest names for the Xbox One and that the upcoming "Guardians" installment is a major title in the game's continuity, a special console to celebrate its launch would not be far off the mark. A limited edition console also seems to be a good marketing strategy for the publisher, as the hype surrounding the next "Halo" title is already reaching new heights, with video teasers and its own podcast being released prior to the game.

"Halo 5: Guardians" will feature the main protagonist of the franchise, Master Chief, as he explores his world while on the run and hunted down by a new character, Spartan Locke. The game is scheduled for release on Oct. 27 for the Xbox One.
