GTA 5 PC may launch soon as pre-orders on Amazon France are available now

The GTA V PC version is available for pre-order now by Rockstar Games on Amazon France. The platform requirements are Windows XP / Vista / 7.

Rumors of an imminent GTA V PC release date have been swirling after a video clip of what appears to be the PC version made its way online last week.

The video was posted on Youtube by user warrockteam1, but was quickly removed, with the video site claiming a copyright infringement from Take-Two Interactive, the New York published that owns games maker Rockstar.

There has been no official confirmation of a PC version of the hit game being released any time soon from Rockstar.

However, since the successful launch of the games last year which yielded $1 billion in sales in just 3 days, there is no doubt that it is just a matter of time until Rockstar launches the PC version, making the game available to more users.

In October, Intel marketing director Chris Silva spoke to PC Gamer, stating that he believes that the PC version of the game will be released soon. "At least with Grand Theft Auto I don't think it'll be console exclusive very long. But that's what happens when you have a brand new launch with two companies that have lots of money trying to make sure they have content."

Previous rumors stated that the PC version will be launched by March 2014, with a representative from Amazon and other European retailers claiming the same.

Since the game's launch in September, fans have set up an online petition to urge Rockstar to make the title available for the PC. So far, over 650,000 signatures have been gathered.

A recent bug list claiming to that the pc version is indeed in development has also been revealed. A 150-page bug log has apparently leaked, showing multiple stages of the game development.
