"Grand Theft Auto 5's" Rockstar Editor will soon be coming to both the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One versions of the game.

News of the developments regarding the game's Rockstar Editor was announced by the game's developer, Rockstar Games.

Rockstar Games chose to announce the news the same time they named the winner of their Ill-Gotten Gains Rockstar Editor Contest. Along with the announcement, Rockstar Games has also indicated that the next winner of their Rockstar Editor Contest will have battled through more competition than before, given that they will now have to win the prize against entries from all three platforms for "Grand Theft Auto 5."

For those who may not be familiar with the Rockstar Editor, it Is a feature first introduced back in April that enable players essentially to make their own videos inside the game, according to Gamespot.

By using the Rockstar Editor, players could first record the footage they wanted, edit it according to their preferences and even share it for the "Grand Theft Auto 5" community to see.

Players have access to numerous tools they can use in order to create their own "Grand Theft Auto 5" videos, including different camera modes, filters and other visual effects that will help them make exactly what they have in mind. Players even have access to audio tweaks they can apply to their videos to create what they are looking for.

The "Grand Theft Auto 5" community has already managed to use the Rockstar Editor to create some truly unique videos, including one based on the NWA track "Straight Outta Compton," according to WCCF Tech.

The "Straight Outta Compton" video was made by YouTube user AnimalRobot, and it was made along with the Rockstar Editor and Adobe Premiere.

For those who want to make their own unique videos using the Rockstar Editor, they will simply have to wait for the new update for "Grand Theft Auto 5" to be released; although Rockstar Games has yet to announce its official launch date.
