The Green Bay Packers are currently on a three-game losing streak and had another trouble this week as franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers found himself on the injury report for the first time this season due to a right shoulder injury.

Rodgers and Packers head coach Mike McCarthy acknowledged the injury as they also agreed that the quarterback was "banged up."

"But we all are at this time. It's Week 11 coming up, everybody is dealing with different things. That's the NFL. You get a routine, learn how to take care of your body and push through things," Rodgers said, according to ESPN.

Despite the injury, the 31-year-old seems certain that he will be playing when they take on the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday for Green Bay's Week 11 game.

In a report by ESPN, McCarthy said ahead of Thursday's practice that he is not sure what Rodgers is capable of but the quarterback is looking good.

The report also mentioned that Rodgers has been sacked 11 times in their past three games, the same number of sacks he received in their first six games in which they were unbeaten.

In their last game which was an 18–16 defeat to the Detroit Lions, Rodgers completed 31 of 65 passes for 333 yards and two touchdowns, but was sacked thrice.

For the 2015 season playing in nine games, the four-time Pro Bowler has 198 completions for 2,270 yards and 21 touchdowns, only throwing three interceptions.

The Packers are hoping Rodgers will be all good when they take on the Vikings and try to snap the losing skid since it is his throwing shoulder that is injured.

Currently, the Vikings are the ones leading the National Football Conference (NFC) North with a 7–2 record.

The Packers are on the second spot with a 6–3 record and will aim to regain the top spot when the teams square off at the U.S. Bank Stadium this Sunday.
