Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and Theo (James Frain) will continue to wrestle for control on who will lord over the city underworld in the upcoming episode of the Fox series "Gotham."

In "By Fire," Comicbook reports that the two are still playing the power game as they try to establish who the real boss of the Gotham villains is. Penguin finally understood Theo's vendetta with the Wayne family.

Last episode, it was revealed that the Galavans changed their name from Dumas years ago to escape Bruce's family's wrath. Longtime resident Edwige (Mary Joy) told Penguin that the knife the Pike brothers took from the safe was the one used to cut Caleb Dumas (Bryan Howard Conner) when he tried to seduce Celestine Wayne (Sophie Lee Morris).

The International Business Times reports that Theo's blood feud with the Waynes urged him to set all their properties on fire. He asked Penguin to search for arsonists who could do the job. Penguin, in turn, found the Pike brothers, who were joined by their sister Bridgit (guest star Michelle Veintimilla). Evan (Noah Robbins) was killed when the Gotham City police caught him in the act of stealing napalm from the Merc. Joe (Leo Fitzpatrick) and Bridgit proceeded to the last building on their list, the old Gotham book depository, but were foiled by Capt. Barnes (Michael Chiklis) and Gordon (Ben McKenzie).

Elsewhere, Penguin was hatching his own plans to take down Theo. To get his mother back, he sent Butch (Drew Powell) to trick him. Butch would tell Theo that Penguin has gone crazy and he was looking for a job. As a bonus, he chopped Butch's hands to copy history, sure that Theo would appreciate the gesture. As for Theo, he met with Father Creel (Ron Rifkin) who told him he was part of the Dumas family. Together, they plot Bruce's (David Mazouz) death.

Also in the upcoming episode, Bridgit will find "a new spark of courage" after getting promoted in the family business. She will reportedly "take control of her future," which can mean taking over brother Joe's position as head of family. Meanwhile, Kringle (Chelsea Spack ) and Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) will take their relationship to the next level.

"Gotham" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
