Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry hurt his shin again during their win over the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday, but despite the injury he is not looking to sit out games as the season continues.

In the past few games, Curry has been dealing with a left shin contusion and in the third quarter versus the Lakers, was driving to the basket when the shin hit Lakers center Roy Hibbert's leg, ESPN reported.

Following the contact, Curry was limping and spent time on the bench to get the leg taken care of.

The 27-year-old returned to the game but in the fourth quarter left for the last time and headed to the locker room.

There was no problem for Golden State since it was already in control of the game when Curry went to the locker room, with the team sealing a 109-88 win, its fourth consecutive.

"It's just frustrating and annoying and any other adjective you want to throw in there," Curry told reporters after the game, ESPN reported.

"Long-term, it's not something that I'll have to worry about. It's just playing through an injury that's there. It doesn't get worse if I play on it, unless I get kicked, and that's happened three times since I did it, so hopefully it won't keep happening again," the reigning Most Valuable Player (MVP) added.

Curry finished the game with 17 points (second-leading scorer for Golden State in the win), one rebound, six assists, and three steals in 26 minutes played.

The injury does not really seem to be a major issue since Curry only missed two games so far because of it.

As Curry looks to be ready, it is likely that he will play when they continue a three-game Western Conference road trip this Friday at the Moda Center facing the Portland Trail Blazers.
