"Girl Meets World" season 2 still has two episodes left to showcase when 2016 comes along but some buzz around season 3 has already started. There is more noise now, especially because the junior season of the Disney Channel television series is expected to start shooting this January.
The latest news involves a list of the episode titles for the upcoming season.
When 2016 rolls in, "Girl Meets World" season 2 is expected to dish out its season finale with the episodes "Girl Meets STEM," "Girl Meets Money," and "Girl Meets Legacy." But even with the sophomore season's finale not yet airing, fans are already starting to be curious about season 3.Thankfully, the show's writers' Twitter page has started dishing out some details about it.
According to the Twitter page, if season 1 is about a "season of friendship," season 2 a "season of growth," then season 3 is a "season of feelings." Those who are wishing for more of the love triangle between show's lead Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard), her best friend Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter), and her other best friend-slash-love interest Lucas Friar (Peyton Meyer), the writers also have something juicy for their loyal fans.
"Minor issues resolve quickly. This won't. Because if you know us, you know we'll do much more than a triangle. This all began in the pilot," a tweet last Dec. 8 read.
Season 3 of the coming-of-age sitcom will not be all about the love triangle, which is apparent through the episode titles. The same Twitter account lists the first seven episodes as such:

- Girl Meets Jexica
- Girl Meets She Don't Like Me
- Girl Meets Triangle
- Girl Meets Upstate
- Girl Meets Ski Lodge
But as expected, fans latched on to the episode titled "Girl Meets Ski Lodge," especially those who have followed the original series "Boy Meets World" (which explored the story of Riley's parents Cory and Topanga). Many reponses to the tweet whipped out memories of Lauren, who once cam between Riley's parents. Some have surmised that the ski lodge will make a repeat of what happened, but to Riley this time.
