The students of John Quincy Adams will channel their inner "Glee" spirit in the upcoming episode of Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World."

In "Girl Meets Creativity," Cartermatt reports that Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and the rest of the student population will rally against the board's decision to abolish arts and music in school. The kids apparently believe that the subjects are important in their development as students and will not think twice about voicing their opinion.

In order to convince the administration to retain the subjects, they will look for a creative way to make them realize their value. Will this "demonstration" involve some singing and dancing, while showcasing their artistic skills? Viewers are surely excited to see the kids having fun while asserting their beliefs about something as important as education.

Last episode, Riley had to choose between Lucas (Peyton Meyer) and another classmate on who would be her escort to the semiformal dance. Her uncle Eric (Will Friedle) also had an unexpected visitor, a friend from the past.

Jack Hunter (Mathew Lawrence), Eric's college roommate and buddy, caught up with him to reminisce about good times. He also got to talk about Rachel McGuire (Maitland Ward) and provided closure to the followers of "Boy Meets Girl" who were still waiting to hear about what happened between the two.

Meanwhile, fans will be delighted to know that the episode was actually written by none other than Friedle. KSiteTV exclusively reports what executive producer Michael Jacobs said with regards to the transition of the "Boy Meets Girl" alum from being an actor to a writer. He said the "great thing" about Friedle was that he knew how to tackle the difference between the two shows.

"Will is a magnificent writer. It's (Girl Meets Semi-Formal) wonderfully emotional, and I'm really proud of Will. I really am. I think he did a spectacular job," Jacobs said.

"Girl Meets World" airs Friday at 8:30 p.m. EST on Disney Channel.
