Fans will finally know what happened to Jonathan Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) in the July 17 episode of Disney's coming of age sitcom "Girl Meets World."

In "Girl Meets New Teacher," Corey Matthews (Ben Savage) will defend a new teacher who comes under fire from the principal for using non-traditional ways of learning to engage students. Socialite Life reports that it will be Mr. Turner and that his return will hopefully provide answers on what happened to him following the motorcycle accident that nearly took his life in season 3 of "Boy Meets World."

When fans last saw him, Corey's second favorite teacher was sporting a full-body cast. Although everyone knew he survived the mishap, his whereabouts became unknown and he had not been seen ever since.

In an interview back in April, the show's creator Michael Jacobs told Entertainment Weekly that fans could expect the mystery to be cleared in the show's spin-off.

"Quinn was one of the first people who got in touch with me after 'Girl Meets World' was announced. And what it made me realize is not only does the audience, but the people who were on the show have a fondness for the show," he said.

The show has brought back several "Boy" fan favorites already, including Shawn's (Rider Strong) ex-girlfriend Angela (Trina McGee) and his deceased father Chet (Blake Clark). Cory's brother Eric (Will Friedle) and the infamous Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) also had return appearances.

Last episode, Eric was tapped by Senator Jefferson Davis Graham's camp to run for the New York Senate election. His party was actually looking for a candidate "bad enough" to lose to him and they stumbled upon the Mayor of St. Upid Town.

Topanga (Danielle Fishel) and Cory tried to dissuade him, but Eric said he wanted to beat Graham because he has done bad things and that "people who do bad things should not be in power." Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) also lent their support, saying that the children need "a voice" not only in the Senate, but in the world. The episode culminated in a debate, with Eric getting the better of the esteemed senator.

"Girl Meets World" airs Friday at 8:30 p.m. on Disney.
