The defending La Liga champions will be in action this Saturday when Barcelona aim to take the spot in the table visiting Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Barcelona is still playing without star forward Lionel Messi who is nursing a knee injury but fellow strikers Neymar and Luis Suarez are playing well in his absence.

Neymar is the leading scorer in La Liga with eight goals, while Suarez (seven goals) shined in their last league match recording a hat trick for a 3-1 victory over Eibar.

But in their most recent match in the Copa Del Rey, Blaugrana was unable to secure a win ending up with a scoreless draw facing Villanovense.

Barcelona are struggling on the road so far this season but the last time they played against the Azulones back in April, they walked away with a 6-0 win.

If the champions who have 21 points can capture a victory over Getafe this Saturday, they will have the chance to take the no. 1 spot and break the tie they are currently in with league-leaders Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Getafe would like to avenge April's loss to Barcelona and return on the winning track after experiencing their worst defeat so far in La Liga against Sevilla, 5-0.

Before the recent setback, the Azulones were on a three-match unbeaten streak with a win over Levante (3-0), a scoreless draw with Celta Vigo, and another victory over Las Palmas (4-0).

Getafe are currently 13th in the La Liga table with 10 points, tied with 14th place Rayo Vallecano.

A win over Barcelona will be huge for the club as it will serve as a morale booster and will give them 13 points which can break them in to the top ten clubs in the table.

The La Liga match between Barcelona and Getafe will be on October 31 at 3:25 p.m ET and to watch via live stream click here.
