'Game of Thrones' season 6 spoilers: Will Jon Snow return? Still alive?

Kit Harington as Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones" HBO/ Game of Thrones

A lot of "Game of Thrones" fans haven't moved on from the death of an important character, Jon Snow, portrayed by Kit Harington. Snow is a favorite subject when it comes to asking the "is he dead or not" question.

However, a new spoiler report from Watchers on the Wall (WotW) revealed that the 28-year-old actor was spotted filming in Belfast last week. The report added that the scenes shot were in Winterfell and involved Ramsay (Iwan Rheon), Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), Sansa (Sophie Turner), and Snow.

With reports of Harington spotted on set, rumors about him being alive turned up once again. However, it was made clear by Michael Lombardo, HBO's president of programming, that Snow is dead, as stated in the report from Glamour.

There could be other theories that made more sense as to why Harington is still with the "Game of Thrones" team. It could be that season 6 will feature a series of flashbacks or a dream sequence, in which Snow appears, Glamour continued.

Bustle also shares some of the theories it gathered from fans, such as Snow warging into his direwolf and Melisandre (Carice van Houten) helping him with resurrection.

Meanwhile, sources for WotW also revealed other juicy details that fans may expect from "Game of Thrones" season 6. It was mentioned that a giant shows up at the gates and tries to get in, while people behind the gates need to drive it away.

Apart from this spoiler news, WotW was not able to gather more details about what kind of giant was spotted on the set. It also remains to be seen at which episode this particular scene will be featured.

There are still several months left before "Game of Thrones" season 6 airs. Nothing concrete about the show has been given away yet, except for the new actors joining the show.
