Fans of racing video games will finally get hold of "Forza Motorsport 6" in less than a month, which is why game developer Turn 10 Studios is gearing up to prepare them for the big changes that the game will feature in its multiplayer mode.

For the upcoming sixth installment in the "Forza Motorsport" franchise, the game developer will introduce the Leagues feature in the multiplayer mode of the game. It is a brand-new system that is based on the timed multiplayer races and specifically developed to match players against other players depending on their skills and other compatibilities.

Turn 10 Studios creative director Dan Greenawalt talked about this new feature in a recent interview with IGN. According to Greenawalt, the Leagues can help players achieve the perfect race against similar skilled opponents.

Greenawalt said that fans of the "Forza Motorsport" video game series got excited when they found out that the upcoming "Forza Motorsport 6" will come out with a 24-car multiplayer mode. But it could be difficult to enjoy if the players will have to wait for opponents from different locations, or if they will have to race against those who have higher or lower skills.

The game developer said that the Leagues was created so that players will not have to wait for a long time to race against their preferred set of opponents.

Leagues will reportedly divide the "Forza Motorsport 6" players into different Driver Divisions according to their skills. They will start at the lowest division, but they will progress into the higher divisions through a gauge that is similar to the Elo rating system that is used in chess tournaments. Also, the players will be filtered based on their attitude, so that the clean players will be matched against those who like to play according to the rules, while those who would like to play it rough will be matched against each other.

"Forza Motorsport 6" will be exclusively released for Xbox One consoles beginning Sept. 15 in the U.S., and followed by Japan on Sept. 17. Those who are living in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe can start purchasing the game on Sept. 18.
