EA Sports has announced the release date of "Fifa 16," the upcoming association football simulation video game. According to its official page, the game will be available in September on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

The franchise revealed at the game's E3 presentation in Los Angeles that the game was set to innovate "across the entire pitch" for "balanced, authentic, and exciting football" gameplay.

Exciting new features of "Fifa 16" promise to solve common complaints of players from the previous versions. Gotta Be Mobile reported that it would strike a "better balance between offense and defense," while giving a realistic feel to the game.

EA Sports has also unveiled the video game's dribble control system which, according to Mirror, mimics Lionel Messi perfectly. Fifa designers used motion-capture technology to mimic the Argentine football superstar's movements and bring his "hypnotic" dribbling technique to life. Gamers will now be able to feint, free up space and beat defenders using the new system.

Aside from updated animations and new tackling mechanics, other improved features include "Confidence in Defending" and "Control in Midfield," among others.

While re-orders for "Fifa 16" are already rolling, PC gamers are now readying their machines to have the minimum requirements to play the next-generation video game. Multiple unofficial sources have given the recommended specifications needed, but all of these are unconfirmed. The International Business Times has provided the PC specs.

As an extra treat for those who could not wait for the game to be released, Gameranx has leaked the rumored "Fifa 16" player rankings. The figures were captured from video footage of the game demo at E3.

Messi appears to have the highest player rating at 94, followed closely by Ronaldo with 93. Neymar has been rated at 87, with Suarez and Bale getting 89 and 87, respectively.
