Finally, despite the Xbox One version getting delayed, all the versions of the highly popular game "Fallout 4" can now access the much-awaited update 1.6.
Bethesda announced via their Twitter account that the patch for the Xbox One has been released, and it was later followed by the PS4 version's release. Xbox One was supposed to get the patch last week, since it was supposed to be the next to receive it after the July 5 PC release. As for PS4, there was no offered time interval for its launch, so users of this console were just pleasantly surprised when it came out.
This update mainly offers bug fixes, as well as enhancements on Codsworth's vocabulary, giving it more than 300 new names. What this means is that Codsworth might be able to vocalize the name players choose for their character. For players who are curious about the new names, Gamespot has the full list. Additionally, this update also provides support for the new DLC, as well as the new icons in Workshop mode related to the items this DLC will offer.
Specifically saying, the "Fallout 4" Update 1.6 will ensure improvements in terms of stability and performance. Furthermore, this patch also fixed a crash issue when the player is in VATS and targets an enemy weapon, as well as the issue where a Companion will be stuck while walking and are unable to run. Another issue fixed by this update is the disappearance of other saves when a player deletes a saved game. As for mods, this update also fixed issues on activating mods not from Bethesda.net as well as optimizing the Mods load order and browsing.
"Fallout 4" will have a new DLC soon, called the "Vault-Tec Workshop" and it will launch on all console platforms on July 26. After that, it will be followed by the final DLC release for "Fallout 4," "Nuka World," which will arrive in August.
