A new announcement related to "Fable Legends" is set to be made very soon.

As of now, the game's developer, Lionhead Studios, has not yet disclosed exactly what the announcement will be about. Even without more specific details, Lionhead Studios has still released a teaser image which is presumed to be related to the announcement they are set to make.

The image includes a silhouette of a character holding a guitar as he or she appears to be in the middle of playing it, according to Gamespot.

Lionhead Studios accompanied the release of their teaser image with a statement saying, "For those not coming to Gamescom, we've got something pretty cool coming your way next week as well."

Fans will simply have to wait until the formal announcement is made before they can find out exactly what the teaser image is all about.

As Lionhead Studios indicated in their statement, "Fable Legends" will also be coming to Gamescom this year. Fans can enjoy a playable demo of the game at the Xbox booth during Gamescom. Microsoft is also expected to provide more specific details about "Fable Legends" during the event.

In related news, an exact release date for "Fable Legends" has still not been confirmed.

According to iDigital Times, Microsoft appeared to tip their hand earlier this year during Comic-Con when they showed a video about "Fable Legends" that also said that the game would be available by Oct. 13.

Shortly after the video premiered, Microsoft quickly addressed the date appearing in it, saying that Oct. 13 is not the planned launch day for "Fable Legends." Microsoft said that the date's inclusion in the video was simply a mistake on their end, and nothing indicative of their future plans for the game.

Although nothing is confirmed, Microsoft may be looking at Gamescom to possibly reveal the correct release date for "Fable Legends."
