New DLC will be constantly making its way to "Fable Legends" once the game has been officially released.

News of "Fable Legends" receiving a lot of new DLC once it has been released came directly from the game's director David Eckelberry.

Players can expect a varied amount of new content coming via the DLC for the game. According to Eckelberry, fans can expect additional content in the form of new characters, enemies and quests. Eckelberry also expects the new content to be released at regular intervals, giving fans ample time to prepare for each subsequent release, according to Gamespot.

Even though Eckelberry and Lionhead Studios have indicated that "Fable Legends" will be on the receiving end of plenty of additional content, they have stopped short of saying whether or not players will actually be able to enjoy them all for free.

Players can also choose to spend real world money in the game to purchase specific items.

Eckelberry also said that the items in "Fable Legends" that will have a genuine impact on gameplay will all be available via chests and the built-in loot system. He added that other gameplay elements such experience points and potions will not be available for purchase using real world money.

Despite, the numerous game elements players can supposedly spend real money, both Eckelberry and Lionhead Studios have said that gamers can still gain the full experience even if they choose to refrain from spending a single cent.

The game's developer has already indicated that there will be no special areas in the game that will be inaccessible due to pay walls.

All of the quests in the game will also be available to everyone playing "Fable Legends," and they will also be avoiding any energy bar mechanic that may call for players having to spend money just to replenish themselves, according to iDigital Times.

No official release date has been announced for "Fable Legends."
