'Dragon Ball Super' episode 18 spoilers: Goku leaves for training with Whis

 Toei Animation

"Dragon Ball Super" just showed its latest episode titled "Pan is Born! And Goku Goes Off on a Training Journey!" last Nov. 1.

In this particular episode, fans were introduced to Pan, Gohan's daughter with Videl. Most of the family members would like Pan to engage in martial arts, but ChiChi despised the idea. Pan was seen thrown up into the air, which, of course, infuriated Chi-Chi.

Chi-chi strongly believes that Pan should lead a different life and that she should behave like a lady rather than engage in fights like her grandpa Goku.

Elsewhere, Bulma slipped the information that Vegeta has left the planet to undergo training with Whis for half a year and this news definitely shocked Goku and made him feel envious.

This now brings the connection to the next episode, which will air this Sunday and will be titled "I've Come Too! Training Begins on Beerus Planet!"

According to reports, the episode will continue on to feature the series' main protagonist as he leaves planet Earth to go on a training session with Whis.

Knowing that Vegeta is already training with Whis, Goku decides to follow him and receive training as well even though he admitted that it's going to be a tough one.

However, Goku's wife Chi-Chi seems to be getting in the way of his desire to train; but eventually, he was seen flying off leaving the planet with Whis.

Attack of the Fanboy also reported that in the upcoming episode, Bulma will give Goku a gift — a smartphone to be used to contact Whis to beg him for the training. It is expected that the episode will feature funny scenes as Goku struggles to use the modern gadget.

Episode 18 will also introduce for the first time Champa and Vados, the report added.

The new episode of Toei Animation's "Dragon Ball Super" is scheduled to air on Japan's Fuji TV on Sunday, Nov. 8.
