Alex (Christopher Egan) will try to shield New Delphi from avenging angels in the upcoming episode of Syfy's apocalyptic supernatural action series "Dominion."
In "Son of the Fallen," TV Guide reports that the "Chosen One" will conceive a plan to block Michael (Tom Wisdom) and Gabriel (Carl Beukes) from entering the city. The two have already breached the protective walls of New Delphi and are determined to reach their mutual target.
Meanwhile, Claire (Roxanne McKee) will attempt to pacify the mutiny of the V1s and start the negotiation process. David (Anthony Head) also faces a hurdle of his own, as he will aim to restore what is rightfully his by any means necessary.
Last episode, Alex and Noma (Kim Engelbrecht) discovered that Julian (Simon Merrells) was hiding a terrible secret. They found a room of armed eight balls, all in stasis. When they confronted him about it, Julian said that 25 years ago, an angel attacked New Delphi. Her name was Rhais, and she was one of Gabriel's higher angels. The eight balls helped them survive the invasion, and they ended up capturing Rhais. Julian said she provided useful information about the angels and their plans.
Because they now know too much, Alex and Noma were captured by Julian's thugs. While tied up, the leader showed them an amphora made of empyrean steel and said it was the first weapon of New Delphi. Noma realized that it contained darkness, and once opened, the amphora could destroy the entire city and everything within 100 miles round.
The two managed to escape and planned to steal the amphora. When they got their chance, they set out to get it but Julian caught them. They then discovered his other secret — that he was actually an eight ball and a dyad to boot.
Meanwhile, Gabriel told Michael where to they could find Alex. Gabriel convinced his brother that Alex was the only one who could bring their Father back. Michael agreed to catch him once Gabriel promised he would not kill the "Chosen One."
Elsewhere, David conspired with Zoe (Christina Chong) to take down Claire. The Lady of the City, meanwhile, was battling an angel with Gates (Nicholas Bishop) to prevent it from breaching Vega.
"Dominion" airs Thursday at 10:00 p.m. EST on Syfy.
