As a celebration and to commemorate the 15th year anniversary of the original "Digimon Adventure" series, Japanese company giant Toei will be coming up with "Digimon Adventure Tri," a new adventure series with new Chosen Children in the Digimon world.

The latest news about the upcoming series places a big reveal to happen on May 6 at 10:45 p.m. JST. Rumors are circulating that the big reveal will officially announce the show's voice cast ensemble, together with teaser videos and the main points of the new story.

Although Toei still has to officially announce the cast, some voice actors have been already confirmed to be working on the new show. Crossmap reports that Chika Sakamoto will be playing Agumon; Junko Takeuchi will voice Gomamon; Kinoko Yamada as Palmon; Miwa Matsumoto to voice Piyomon; and Yuka Tokumitsu playing as Tailmon and Gatomon.

No details are available on who will voice the Chosen Children, or if previous actors will come and reprise their roles, as the new series will still feature the original group from "Digimon Adventure 02," with most of the children already grown up and studying in high school.

Meanwhile, fans are guessing how the story would unfold this time. According to a report by KPopStarz, a transcript from Japanese site Logsoku places the spring premiere of the new show to start with a mysterious voice calling out to high school student Taichi, who got his Digivice stolen from him by a Digimon.

Meanwhile, hardcore fans will be treated to a "Digimon" marathon prior to the unveiling. Starting on May 4, fans of the franchise will be able to re-experience and watch past episodes of the original "Digimon Adventure" series. A three-day marathon starting at 5 p.m. will feature episodes 1 to 19, 20 to 38, and 39 to 54 on May 4, 5, and 6, respectively.
