NFL 2014 football on Thanksgiving Day will see the Detroit Lions host the Chicago Bears in a big game that could decide whether the Lions make the postseason or fall short. The Lions come into this game a bit battered and bruised after two straight defeats against the New England Patriots and the Arizona Cardinals. However, they will believe they have what it takes to get back to winning ways today against rivals, the Chicago Bears, who are struggling somewhat this season.

The game will start at 12.30 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on the CBS network. The game can also be watched online through live stream - free for subscribers - via the link provided below.

The Lions come into the game on 7-4, where as the Bears are struggling back on 5-6. However, it is the Bears that have won two straight games coming into today's match up, where as the Lions have lost two in a row.

The Lions though will have noticed that the Bears have struggled against the stronger sides in the NFL, and that is a category they would want to place themselves in by defeating Chicago today.

Since scoring a touchdown with 29 seconds to go in their 20-16 win over the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 9, the Lions have been held down to just five field goals.

A closer look at their recent games should indicate that there is no reason to be too alarmist about Detroit's recent problems. They played two of the NFL's best teams this season, and both games were on the road. They get to return to Ford Field in Michigan today, and hopefully for them, get back to winning ways.

The game will start at 12.30 p.m. EDT and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
