New changes are in store for "Destiny" players once the new expansion pack "The Taken King" becomes available on Sept. 15.
There will be a lot of major changes ahead, including the revelation of new weapons and the addition of more space to store up armor and weaponry. Among the new weapons that players may find interesting include that of the Righteous VII and the Suros Regime auto rifles as well as the Objective IV and Ruin Wake machine guns.
Aside from the new toys and storage, developer Bungie Inc. has also focused on improving character development as well as some changes in gameplay to make the experience a whole lot easier, not to mention understandable.
Among the prior in-game issues that many players may have come across include that of Light and Level. Both are expected to be simplified with the upcoming expansion pack. With "The Taken King" expansion, gamers will now be able to reach a new level cap of 40 by doing simple stuff such as story missions, patrols, strikes, and player vs. player (PVP) gaming.
Light will still be around, although it will come in handy more as an indicator of a character's strength rather than how a player can gain access to content.
Subclasses for Guardians should be another enhancement to watch out for. There will be three new subclasses, namely Nightstalker, Sunbreaker, and Stormcaller, each of which will have their own benefits when it comes to using them in battle. In short, a player will have to figure out which of them is perfect when the need arises, each coming with a special skill.
There are also new things to look forward to when "Destiny: The Taken King" expansion comes out next month. Such include easier understanding of leveling, recalibration of weapon stats, slots and special skills, simplified currencies, reputations, and quests.
With so much to look to forward to, "Destiny" players are bound to find themselves busy with the expansion, which, hopefully, will make the game better and, as Bungie keeps emphasizing on, simpler.
