Game developer Bungie has announced that "Destiny 2's" second Faction Rally event will be starting this week. During the event, the three factions in the game will be pitted against one another in indirect competition.

The event will kick off on Nov. 7 and will run through Nov. 13. For this duration, players who have pledged allegiance to one of the three factions, Dead Orbit, Future War Cult, or New Monarchy, will have the chance to collect rewards for their faction.

"You're about to be called again to declare your loyalty during another week of Faction Rallies," said Bungie in its announcement. "If you are a new player who missed the first event, this will be an opportunity for you to define your character, join a movement, and earn some awesome gear."

Players will be able to contribute to their factions by participating in different tasks like public events, Lost Sector loots, strikes, and raids. The faction that collects the most rewards will be declared the winner of the event.

Players can collect tokens that can be converted to engrams through faction vendors, allowing players to get faction-themed weapons and armor. The winner will also be rewarded with exclusive discounts for special weapons like a sword, grenade launcher, or fusion rifle.

The first Faction Rally of "Destiny 2" ran from the end of September to the beginning of October, and crowned the faction Dead Orbit as the victors.

For the second Faction Rally, Bungie is implementing some changes based on its observations from the first one. The company seeks to consider the amount of time players invest in certain activities, and give out appropriate rewards for them.

This Faction Rally will also mark the first time PC players will be joining the event. This increases the total number of players who will participate, which should make for a more interesting and competitive week.
