The Cleveland Cavaliers again are sitting on top of the Eastern Conference and ended a three-game losing streak when they defeated the Portland Trail Blazers at the Quicken Loans Arena Tuesday, 105–100.

Cavaliers superstar LeBron James emerged in the victory scoring 33 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter.

Along with his explosive offensive performance, James provided an all-around effort also having 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and three blocks in 40 minutes of action.

After the game, the 30-year-old spoke about the momentum they had against the Blazers, who led as much as 18 points in the first half.

"Momentum is a huge thing in sports. If you're able to get a little momentum and able to ride that wave, you can do some special things. We caught a good wave tonight," James said, according to the Associated Press.

Helping James in the huge win was former All-Star forward Kevin Love who had 18 points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Point guard Matthew Dellavedova also had a great game, tallying 17 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

Besides Dellavedova, another point guard stood out in the win in veteran Mo Williams who contributed 13 points, two rebounds, and two assists in 21 minutes of action coming off the bench.

Currently the Cavs' 14–7 record are making them leaders in the tight Eastern Conference, just one game ahead of the Miami Heat who are on the second spot.

The Cavaliers will be hitting the road for their next two games as they take on the Orlando Magic this Friday and the Boston Celtics on Tuesday next week.

Cleveland will be back home at the Quickens Loans Arena on Thursday, Dec. 17, and will begin a three-game home stand taking on the duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
