Christian advocate says innocent Muslims should not be blamed for 'hellish acts' of ISIS

Christian advocate Matt Moore thinks it's plain ignorance to assume that all Muslims are terrorists who are out to get Christians. He feels sorry that Syrian refugees are now suffering from prejudice because of the recent Paris terror attacks perpetrated by the Islamic State (ISIS).

"My intent today is not to wade into political waters," Moore writes on his blog. "There are enough folks getting into all that. I wrote this blog merely to remind my American friends that the overwhelming majority of Muslim people are just people, not killers. I have taken massive issue over the last few days with the way many fearful Westerners are vilifying and dehumanizing not just ISIS, but all Middle Eastern, Islamic people."

He says it is shocking to read the number of people spouting hate against Muslims on social media. "I say wipe them off this planet. They are terrorising so many people and countries .... There isn't any other way around it," someone comments.

Another adds, "They are all programmed to kill and destroy Christians! From the time they can walk and talk!!"

Moore considers this talk as manifestations of foolishness, ignorance, and hatred, and he stresses the need for it to stop. "It's been said over and over, but the horse obviously isn't dead so I'll say it again: Not every Muslim is a terrorist," he says. "Not every Syrian refugee is trying to infiltrate countries under the guise of helplessness to slay innocent people. It is an extremely small sect of Islam that is responsible for the horrors that took place in Paris and have been taking place in other areas of the world (that we never hear about nor does anyone seem to care about)."

Moore reminds people not to blame innocent Muslims for the "hellish acts" conducted by the ISIS, and they should never be looked at, talked about, or treated like they had something to do with terrorism.
