The power and danger of social media are going to be explored in episode 10 of "Chicago Justice" season 1.

Titled "Drill," the official synopsis for the upcoming episode reveals that an innocent girl is going to be murdered by some gang-related brawl that originated from the social media. Because Stone (Philip Winchester) firmly believes in justice, he will tirelessly work on the case. However, his obsession turns things complicated, as the life and family of the cooperating witness is threatened.

The matter is taken to the court, where Stone seems to be fighting on a losing end. Nonetheless, the Assistant State Attorney will fight for what he believes is right and will continue to go head-to-head with the possible suspects. There, he will face the social media providers who accidentally triggered the said gang war, as well as a young man who may be the killer that they are looking for.

In the promotional preview of the upcoming episode, the clip shows a small bloodied and lifeless girl on the street as the police looks into a crime war that resulted in lots of bloodshed in just a span of eight hours. It then reveals that the gang war is being incited on social media, as several posts and threats are publicly displayed.

The preview also shows Stone attempting to turn off the phones of the parties involved, but this tactic surprises Jefferies (Carl Weathers). Stone justifies that if he cannot get their guns, then maybe he can do something about the other instrument that is flaming the gang war.

Toward the end of the preview, the teaser shows how dangerous the people they are meddling with are, as a man pulls the trigger on the police as they drive on the street.

"Chicago Justice" season 1 airs episode 10 on Sunday, April 23, at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
