The problems are stacking up for the Chicago Bears because along with being winless for the 2015 season, starting quarterback Jay Cutler is expected to miss at least two weeks with a hamstring strain.

Cutler sustained the injury in their 48–23 defeat to the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday.

Bears head coach John Fox confirmed Cutler's injury Monday but did not give a specific timetable for his return, ESPN reported.

Cutler was injured during a play when his pass intended to tight end Martellus Bennett was intercepted by Cardinals safety Tony Jefferson in the second quarter.

The 32-year-old quarterback tried to stop Jefferson going for a tackle but failed, hurting his hamstring in the process.

Jefferson was able to score a touchdown off the interception that gave the Cardinals a 28–14 advantage in the game.

Before leaving, Cutler was successful in eight of nine passes for 120 yards and one touchdown, together with the interception.

In two games played this 2015 season, Cutler had 26 completions for 345 yards and two touchdowns.

Backup quarterback Jimmy Clausen replaced Cutler in the game and will also be the starter in his absence.

Clausen had 14 completions for 121 yards with no touchdown, also throwing one interception and was sacked twice against the Cardinals.

Despite the 28-year-old athlete's performance in the loss to Arizona, Fox still trusts him to be their main quarterback with Cutler sidelined.

Fox believes the reps Clausen is getting are more than the average for a regular backup and thinks he did okay against the Cardinals.

The Bears and Clausen better be ready for their Week 3 match since they will face the 2013 Super Bowl champions and last year's runners-up the Seattle Seahawks, who are also surprisingly winless so far this season.

Chicago will have a tougher task; after playing their first two games at home at Soldier Field and failing to capitalize by capturing a win, they will be hitting the road when they take on Seattle at CenturyLink Field this Sunday.
