Chelsea vs Maccabi Tel Aviv live stream: Watch Champions League football online (Game preview)

Chelsea will play Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League on Wednesday night as they look to claim three points from their opening European game of the season. The Blues will be big favorites to win the game, however, their form at the start of this season has been as bad as at any time in Jose Mourinho's time at Chelsea, and that puts a question mark over how things will go tonight. The game has a scheduled start time of 7.45 p.m. ET (2.45 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream via the link below.

Fans at Stamford Bridge tonight will be hoping a solid win in Europe tonight can kick start Chelsea's season. Things have been lackluster to say the least for Mourinho and his men in the opening month of the season, as the Blues have lost three of their last four games.

The Blues were demolished 3-0 by Manchester City in mid August, and limped to a 3-2 win over West Brom the week after that.

However, since then they have lost at home to Crystal Palace 2-1, and away to Everton 3-1 to make this Mourinho's worst ever start to a season with the Blues.

In team news, Chelsea will be without Radamel Falcao for tonight's match, as he is out with an injury. However, Brazilian Oscar should be available after recovering from a knee problem.

Mourinho will be desperate for a win tonight to put their poor start to the domestic season behind them. Chelsea have not made such a bad start to a domestic campaign since 29 years ago.

Asmir Begovic has said ahead of tonight's game: "There's always going to be a bit of a hit on confidence when things aren't going your way. I think it's going to make us stronger going forward."
He added, "Something we can't forget is what this group achieved last year. We have some of the best players in the world and we're more than confident we'll get to the levels we want to."
